Job summary

Chubb Internal Audit in Philadelphia seeks a Senior Auditor to join a globally deployed team. You will support risk-based audits across underwriting, claims and other operations, lead planning, fieldwork, and reporting, and use analytical skills to identify control deficiencies and advise management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or Economics.
• Minimum of 3 years in public accounting or internal audit experience or insurance operations experience.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Must be a team player with proven track record of collaboration and flexibility.
• Strong critical thinking, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to understand complex processes and recommend solutions.
• Proficient data analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Support risk-based audits and advisory projects for underwriting, claims, and other critical operational areas/functions.
• Take ownership on key components of end-to-end audit process: planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Identify internal control deficiencies, evaluate risk implications, and advise management auditees.
• Use AI and data analytics to increase audit coverage and optimize efficiencies.
• Manage request lists, provide status updates to IA management and auditees, monitor budget vs. actuals.
• Provide guidance to less experienced staff on engagements.
• Build relationships with management auditees and contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes.
