Job summary

Chubb is seeking a Senior Auditor to join the North America Operational Audit team in Philadelphia, PA. You will partner with management to evaluate control processes and support audits across underwriting, claims, and other critical areas.

The role involves leading audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting, applying analytical skills to identify control deficiencies, and guiding junior staff. A strong communicator with a curious, analytical mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or Economics.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Strong critical thinking, root cause analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient data analytical skills; able to work with data to identify issues.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support risk-based audits and advisory projects for underwriting, claims, and other critical operational areas/functions.
• On assigned audits/projects, take ownership on key components of the end-to-end audit process, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Use problem solving and critical thinking skills to identify internal control deficiencies, evaluate risk implications, and advise management auditees.
• Use AI and/or data analytics skills to increase audit coverage and optimize efficiencies.
• Manage requests lists, provide status updates to IA management and auditees, and monitor budget to actuals.
• Provide guidance to less experienced staff on assigned engagements.
• Build and nurture positive working relationships with management auditees.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in audit processes.
