Qualifications

  • 4+ years of recent public accounting audit experience with demonstrated client-facing responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with agribusiness, nonprofit, or governmental clients is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead audit engagements from planning through completion.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout engagements.
  • Build strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and proactive communication.
  • Supervise, review, and mentor junior audit staff.
  • Collaborate with managers and partners to develop engagement strategies and resolve complex audit matters.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and related workpapers.
  • Manage multiple engagements while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and process improvements.
