Audit Senior

Audit Senior | Fort Myers | $80,000–$100,000

At a certain point in public accounting, the work isn’t the problem anymore. The environment is.

If you’re an Audit Senior who enjoys the technical work but wants better balance, clearer progression, and less noise around how you do your job, this role is worth a look.

This is a 25‑person CPA firm with low staff turnover and a genuinely healthy culture. Leadership trusts professionals to get on with their work. There’s no micromanagement, no pressure to chase business, and no obsession with billable theatrics. Just solid audit, done properly, in a firm that plays the long game.

Busy season is demanding but sensible. Typically around 55 billable hours from mid‑February through March, with short spikes into April. No 70–80 hour weeks. The office closes fully between Christmas and New Year, and balance is treated as a standard, not a perk.

Most of the team works in the office because they want to, not because they’re forced to. One hybrid day is absolutely fine. Flexibility is real, as long as you’re a self‑starter with a strong work ethic.
