  • Monitor and validate management's remediation of audit findings, regulatory examination matters, third-party assessments, and other control improvement commitments.
  • Coordinate with outsourced audit partners, external auditors, and business process owners to support efficient audit execution, evidence gathering, issue validation, and timely completion of deliverables.
  • Use data analytics, reporting tools, and audit technology to identify trends, anomalies, risk indicators, and opportunities to improve audit coverage and efficiency.
  • Support the development and ongoing maintenance of the risk-based Internal Audit Plan by contributing risk insights, business knowledge, and awareness of changes in products, systems, regulations, and the external environment.
  • Review work performed by staff auditors or project team members, provide coaching and feedback, and help develop audit skills across the department.
  • Maintain and enhance Internal Audit procedures, templates, quality practices, and documentation standards to support consistency, efficiency, and audit readiness.
  • Participate in special projects, advisory reviews, change initiatives, and other departmental priorities as assigned.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, preparing clear audit reports and committee summaries.
