Acloché LLC in the Chicago North Suburbs is seeking an Audit Supervisor to lead employee benefit plan audits and other engagements. The role offers hybrid work in a respected public accounting firm with exposure to diverse clients and direct interaction with firm leadership.

You will supervise staff, plan engagements, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining high-quality workpapers, financial statements, and tax-related outputs. CPA status and supervision experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of public accounting experience in audit and accounting.
• CPA preferred.
• Employee Benefit Plan audit experience desirable.
• Working knowledge of taxation and business returns.
• Experience supervising and developing staff.
• Strong technical accounting and audit skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee benefit plan audits and other assurance engagements from planning to completion.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff accountants.
• Develop engagement work plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements.
• Monitor engagement progress and communicate with Managers and Partners.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain strong relationships.
