Top Echelon Software, LLC seeks an Audit Supervisor in the Chicago North Suburbs with a hybrid work arrangement. You will lead employee benefit plan audits and other engagements, supervise staff, and interact with Partners. Strong client exposure and advancement opportunities are highlighted.

The role emphasizes end-to-end engagement management, budgeting, and delivery of quality financial statements and tax returns. CPA preferred and public accounting experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of public accounting experience in audit and accounting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA preferred and employee benefit plan audit experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee benefit plan audits and other assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff accountants.
• Develop engagement work plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements.
• Monitor engagement progress and communicate with Managers and Partners.
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes, workpapers, and tax returns for engagements.
