Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Audit Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional audit engagements within Technology Services.

You will oversee planning, risk assessment, and delivery of audit work across multiple initiatives, collaborating with business lines and risk/compliance teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than eight years of applicable experience.
• Experience in IT applications controls, and IT general controls testing.
• Experience utilizing data analytics and validating audit and regulatory issues within agreed-upon timeframes.
• Experience in leading stakeholder meetings and issue discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex audit projects that are horizontal in nature and supervise staff in the completion of audit engagements with minimal supervision from managers.
• Monitor progress of audit engagements against plan and schedule, assess work performed by the audit engagement team.
• Provide coaching and on-the-job training for team members to ensure engagements are completed in conformance with internal audit policies and procedures.
• Work as a subject matter expert in a particular topic, helping drive strategy, and may support multiple audit engagements.
• Handle complex tasks autonomously and influence business line understanding of risk mitigation.
• Partner with assigned Line of Business and RCA teams to create, implement, review or oversee risk management framework.
