Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a senior Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) manager to partner with senior leaders across assigned lines of business to design, implement, and maintain an effective risk management framework that meets federal, state, and local requirements.

This role leads a team of RCA professionals, directs staffing and performance, drives risk mitigation initiatives, and fosters a strong partnership between the business and risk functions while guiding policy and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than 12 years of applicable experience.
• Considerable understanding of applicable laws, regulations and regulatory trends.
• Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects and people.
• Effective written and verbal communication; risk/controls knowledge.
• Applicable professional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to oversee creation, implementation and maintenance of risk management framework.
• Identify gaps, drive solutions to minimize losses from weak internal processes.
• Escalate risks and influence policies to balance profit and regulatory exposure.
• Lead RCA Professionals team with staffing, performance, guidance and training.
