The State of Michigan is seeking an experienced professional to administer the day-to-day operations of the Office of Professional Practice, including Working Paper Review and Audit Report Review.

The role ensures the quality management system is effective and provides professional and technical support to the Bureau of Audit Operations, advising the Auditor General on changes in auditing standards impacting operations.

Qualifications

• Possess a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting.
• Two years at the State Administrative Manager 15 level or above.
• Knowledge of professional accounting and auditing standards.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Administer day-to-day activities of the Office of Professional Practice, including Working Paper Review and Audit Report Review.
• Oversee the OAG's quality management system and ensure compliance.
• Provide professional and technical support to the Bureau of Audit Operations.
• Advise the Auditor General on changes in auditing standards impacting operations.
