Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, masters or advanced degree desirable
• CPA required
• Eight (8)+ years’ experience providing financial statement auditing services in a professional services firm desired
• Five (5)+ years’ of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates desired
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and ethical standards

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing audit and other assurance services to middle market clients
• Proactively engaging with clients to understand business goals and challenges
• Developing and implementing testing to assess deficiencies of internal controls and propose improvements
• Managing all fieldwork ensuring quality service and timely delivery of results
• Providing financial statement guidance and business recommendations based on testing and information gathered
• Networking to acquire new clients, projects and revenue
