Job summary

AgFirst Farm Credit Bank is seeking a Manager of Audit in Columbia, SC (Hybrid). You will lead risk-based audits from planning to reporting and present findings to senior leadership, including the Audit Committee.

You will hire and coach a team, develop the annual audit plan, and strengthen internal controls across financial and IT areas. A CPA/CIA/CISA is preferred, with extensive governance and cybersecurity knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 10+ years of audit, risk, compliance, or related experience.
• 4+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, control frameworks, risk management and cybersecurity.
• Proven ability to communicate audit findings and influence stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success leading teams and projects.
• CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and/or execute risk-based operational, financial, and IT audits from planning through reporting.
• Review workpapers, ensure conclusions are well-supported and aligned with standards.
• Communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders and Audit Committee.
• Monitor progress, resources, and timelines for timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain the annual risk-based audit plan.
• Partner with management to identify emerging risks and strengthen controls.
• Lead quality assurance and ongoing audit improvements.
• Hire, coach, and manage a team of audit professionals.
• Promote a culture of risk management, compliance, and accountability.
