The successful candidate will manage audit work for clients across the firm while guiding the local team and supporting growth in the Capital Region.

This role offers visibility, autonomy, and potential advancement toward Principal or Partner, with a direct-hire employment model and a salary range of $115,000 to $165,000 per year,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
Active CPA preferred.
Progressive public-accounting audit experience.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage audit and assurance engagements.
Review financial statements, workpapers and supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with professional standards and firm quality requirements.
Manage engagement schedules, staffing, budgets and client expectations.
Serve as a primary contact for audit clients.
Identify accounting, reporting and internal-control issues.
Review staff work and provide technical guidance.
Coach and develop employees.
Coordinate engagements across multiple offices.
Provide a consistent leadership presence in the Latham office.
Support client growth and broader firm initiatives.
