CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Audit Manager in Ohio to lead audits for a growing public accounting team. You will work directly with clients, manage engagements from planning through completion, and mentor staff while helping grow the firm.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive public accounting audit experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and excellent communication and leadership skills. CPA is preferred and the role offers career advancement and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA license preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive public accounting audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
• Experience managing multiple engagements and client relationships.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients.
• Review financial statements and audit workpapers for accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
• Identify accounting and financial reporting issues and provide practical solutions.
• Supervise, coach, and develop associates and senior-level team members.
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Assist with business development and identifying opportunities to expand client relationships.
• Stay current on accounting, auditing, and industry developments.
