Job summary

Essenti Talent in Phoenix seeks a Senior Audit Manager to lead client engagements across Manufacturing, Retail/Distribution, Restaurants, Construction, Real Estate, and Estate/Gift planning. The role offers a hybrid work schedule and a base salary up to $140,000 DOE.

The candidate will manage clients and staff, perform field work on audits, reviews, and compilations, and develop strong client relationships while ensuring GAAP/GAAS compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Active CPA.
• Minimum 5 years public accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP and GAAS knowledge.
• GAGAS / Yellow Book knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform field work of audits, reviews and compilations
• Prepare financial statements with full disclosures
• Plan, supervise and complete routine engagements
• Supervise other accountants (of varying levels of proficiency and experience)
• Review work performed by other accountants
• Develop new client relationships, and strengthen existing relationships
• Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to clients
• Assist in firm administrative functions as needed
