Aprio is seeking a Senior Manager to lead assurance engagements focused on construction contractors and real estate developers, owners, and operators. You will guide multiple engagements, ensure technical quality, and manage budgets and client communication.

You will coach teams, support recruiting, and contribute to training in your industry specialty while collaborating across tax, advisory, and client accounting services. Aprio offers a flexible, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license.
• Seven or more years of public accounting experience with a concentration in audit and assurance.
• Demonstrated record of managing, coaching, and developing staff accountants.
• Strong analytical skills applied to financial statements and other financial information.
• Effective written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues.
• Initiative and sound judgment with leadership ability.
• High standard of professional integrity and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple audit, review, and other assurance engagements concurrently from planning through delivery.
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients and build lasting relationships.
• Own technical quality, reviewing workpapers, financial statements, and client deliverables before partner sign-off.
• Manage engagement economics including budgets, WIP, billing, and realization.
• Communicate status, findings, and open items with partners, team, and clients.
• Supervise and delegate across staff levels to keep engagements moving.
