Job summary

HCVT is seeking an experienced Audit and M&A Senior Manager to lead audit engagements and provide transaction-related accounting and due diligence support for middle-market clients. You will manage client relationships, oversee delivery, and advise on accounting matters across assurance and advisory services.

The role combines leadership of audit engagements with active involvement in business development, team mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required.
• Active CPA licensure is required.
• Approximately eight or more years in progressive public accounting with leadership in audits.
• Experience with financial due diligence, transaction support, QOE or M&A accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
• Advanced Excel and financial data analysis skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead or supervise audit engagements and deliver high-quality reports.
• Manage engagement scope, timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and client communications.
• Support buy-side and sell-side due diligence and transaction services.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business development.
• Coach and develop audit and advisory teams and coordinate with specialists.
