You will plan and perform financial statement audits, prepare workpapers, identify issues, and mentor associates while ensuring compliance with GAAP and firm standards.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of audit experience in public accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA license or progress toward obtaining one preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Must reside in the San Diego area.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform financial statement audits from start to completion.
• Prepare and review workpapers and financial statements.
• Identify audit issues and communicate recommendations to clients.
• Supervise and mentor associates assigned to engagements.
• Manage engagement timelines, deliverables, and client requests.
• Ensure work complies with professional standards and firm procedures.
