Jobot in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking an Audit Senior for an on-site, permanent role. You will oversee audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting, and you’ll manage engagements from start to finish while communicating findings and recommendations to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification, or actively pursuing CPA.
• Minimum 3+ years of current public accounting experience.
• Proficiency with computerized accounting software and MS Office.
• Strong client rapport and project management skills.
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and coach new staff while managing multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees audit planning, field work, and reporting, communicating findings and recommendations.
• Conducts audit and review engagements from start to finish.
• Assesses compliance by examining, analyzing, and verifying financial records.
• Consults with clients on internal accounting related transactions as needed.
• Recommends changes to management and accounting operations to improve compliance.
• Provides strategic and tactical accounting advice to clients.
• Reviews work product and performance of entry level staff.
• Assists partners and managers on consulting engagements.
• Builds job knowledge through ongoing educational opportunities.
