Job summary

Leoforce in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking an Audit Senior to lead audits from planning through reporting. You will supervise staff, review work, and ensure regulatory compliance for diverse clients in public accounting.

The role requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance, CPA, and 3+ years of public accounting experience. Strong communication and client relations skills are essential, along with proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification, or actively pursuing CPA.
• Minimum 3+ years of current public accounting experience.
• Proficiency with computerized accounting software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversees audit planning, field work, and reporting, communicating findings and recommendations.
• Conducts audit and review engagements from start to finish.
• Assesses compliance by examining, analyzing, and verifying financial records.
• Consults with clients on internal accounting related transactions as needed.
• Recommends changes to management and accounting operations to improve compliance.
• Provides strategic and tactical accounting advice to clients.
• Reviews work product and performance of entry level staff.
• Assists partners and managers on consulting engagements.
• Builds job knowledge through ongoing educational opportunities.
