Job summary

Aprio is seeking a Senior Manager to lead assurance engagements for construction contractors and real estate developers, owners, and operators. Primary focus on construction and real estate with potential support in other industries.

You will lead multiple engagements, supervise staff, and manage engagement economics while building client relationships and delivering high-quality work for a Top 20 CPA firm.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in public accounting with audit & assurance focus.
• Experience managing and coaching staff accountants.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues.
• High standard of professional integrity and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple audit, review and assurance engagements from planning to delivery.
• Serve as principal contact for assigned clients and build lasting relationships.
• Own technical quality; perform final review of workpapers and financial statements.
• Manage engagement economics: budgets, WIP, billing, realization and changes.
• Communicate status, findings and items with partners and clients.
• Research and document technical positions; explain standards to clients.
• Supervise and delegate across staff; keep engagements moving.
