Talent Group partners with a respected public accounting firm in California's Central Valley to identify a Senior Audit & Assurance Accountant or Audit & Assurance Manager. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced public accounting professional who enjoys leading client engagements, mentoring staff, and building strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA licensure in progress, and strong GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA license preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
• Public accounting experience in audit and assurance.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Review financial statements for GAAP compliance.
• Evaluate internal controls and provide client recommendations.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Manage multiple engagements with deadlines and budgets.
• Communicate audit findings professionally to clients.
• Stay current on accounting standards and industry best practices.
• Support business development and firm growth.
