Job summary

Aprio is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Assurance Services team and help clients maximize opportunities through high-quality audit work and meaningful financial insight. This role will execute audit engagements, prepare financial reporting deliverables, and communicate findings clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of public accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with CaseWare or comparable audit software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Preferred: Active CPA license or CPA candidacy.

Responsibilities

• Execute audit engagements with accuracy and a high degree of technical proficiency.
• Prepare audit work papers and adjusting trial balances in accordance with professional standards.
• Plan and schedule client engagements using effective time management practices.
• Assemble trial balances and compile financial statements for presentation and reporting.
• Communicate financial statement accuracy and relevant audit findings clearly to clients and colleagues.
