Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join our growing practice in Pasadena, CA. You will deliver industry-focused audit and other assurance services to middle-market clients as part of an engaged engagement team.

You will engage with clients throughout the year, supervise engagement activities, and develop your leadership and technical accounting skills in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA exam eligibility preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting audit.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple engagements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise the execution of all audit engagement activities.
• Review and perform substantive testing on client's balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct and review tests to assess deficiencies of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement.
• Be a trusted member of the engagement team delivering assurance services to middle market clients.
• Proactively engage with clients to gather information.
• Discuss business recommendations with Manager and Partner.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and teammates through Baker Tilly Care and Teach.
