Eide Bailly LLP is seeking an audit professional in Utah to lead engagements, supervise staff, and develop client relationships. The role requires 2–4 years of audit experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and CPA eligibility.

You’ll work in a hybrid in-office setting from Salt Lake City, Lehi, or Ogden, traveling as needed to client sites. Candidates will perform audit procedures, prepare financial statements, and contribute to improving internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• 2–4 years of audit experience required.
• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA required.
• Knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles essential.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings to set engagement timelines and expectations.
• Perform audit, review, or compilation procedures for clients.
• Manage all engagement phases including workpapers, financial statements, and reports.
• Analyze trial balances and prepare complex financial statements using audit software, Word, and Excel.
• Reconcile accounting data with control accounts and conduct fraud interviews as needed.
• Review staff work and draft financial statements for high-risk areas.
• Provide financial analysis post-fieldwork to improve client controls and procedures.
