Job summary

Eide Bailly in Oklahoma City (or Norman) is seeking an experienced auditor to lead client engagements, manage workpapers, and prepare financial statements with accuracy and integrity.

The role requires a CPA or active pursuit, 2–4 years of audit experience, and strong knowledge of auditing standards. You will collaborate with teams, travel as needed, and contribute to a culture of quality and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• 2–4 years of audit experience is required.
• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA is required.
• Knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles is expected.
• Must be able to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings to establish engagement timelines and expectations.
• Perform audit, review, or compilation procedures for clients.
• Manage all engagement phases, including workpapers, financial statements, and reports.
• Analyze trial balances and prepare complex financial statements using audit software, Word, and Excel.
• Reconcile accounting data with control accounts and conduct fraud interviews as needed.
• Review staff work, prepare high-risk audit sections, and draft financial statements.
• Provide financial analysis post-fieldwork to improve client controls and procedures.
• Coordinate activities to meet client needs within timeframes, and train staff as needed.
• Conduct fieldwork at client locations and participate in business development activities.
