Job summary

Eide Bailly LLP in Oklahoma City, OK (or Norman, OK) is seeking an Assurance Senior Associate. The role combines in-office and hybrid work arrangements with leading client engagements and performing audit, review, or compilation procedures.

You will manage engagement phases, analyze trial balances, and help improve client controls and procedures. Required: Bachelor's in Accounting, 2–4 years audit experience, CPA license or pursuing CPA, strong communication, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 2–4 years of audit experience is required.
• Valid CPA license or actively pursuing CPA is required.
• Knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles is required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration with team members, clients & stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and various software packages.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trial balances and prepare complex financial statements using audit software, Word, and Excel.
• Reconcile accounting data with control accounts and conduct fraud interviews as needed.
• Review staff work, prepare high-risk audit sections, and draft financial statements.
• Provide financial analysis post-fieldwork to improve client controls and procedures.
• Collect and analyze client information to solve problems and meet deadlines.
• Coordinates various activities to meet client needs within a specified time frame.
• Train and delegate tasks to staff based on availability and experience.
• Conduct fieldwork at client locations as necessary.
• Network, build relationships, and attract new business to the Firm.
• Attend training seminars, professional development, and networking events.

Typical Day in the Life

A typical day in the life of an Assurance Senior Associate may include the following:

Who You Are

• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required).
• You have 2-4 years of audit experience (required).
• You have a valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or working towards obtaining CPA license (required).
• You have knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
• You can work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
• You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and can effectively share ideas and collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• You are proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and using various software packages.
• You are willing to travel as needed for client engagements.
