Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join our growing accounting team in Connecticut. You will lead and assist with audits, reviews, and other assurance engagements while mentoring junior staff.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 2+ years in public accounting, and CPA or CPA track. You will work directly with clients, partners, and managers, delivering high-quality financial statements on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of public accounting audit experience.
• CPA or CPA track preferred.
• Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting principles.
• Experience working with a variety of clients and industries is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and other assurance engagements.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Assist with audit planning, risk assessment, and engagement execution.
• Identify accounting, auditing, and financial reporting issues.
• Communicate directly with clients and develop strong professional relationships.
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior staff.
• Work closely with Managers and Partners throughout engagements.
• Ensure engagements are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
