Keegan Linscott & Associates, PC in Tucson, AZ seeks an Audit Senior Associate to join our team. The role involves auditing financial statements for middle market and small companies, coordinating fieldwork, and building industry knowledge.

You will supervise Audit Associates and help ensure timely delivery of client deliverables while traveling up to 10% as needed. The ideal candidate holds a BS/BA in Accounting, with 2 years of public accounting experience and CPA certification or progress

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA required.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, high quality client service and coordinate auditing of financial statements and disclosures.
• Develop understanding of client business and industry to tailor audit approach.
• Supervise Audit Associates on engagement teams and monitor productivity and adherence to plans.
• Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to Managers and Directors.
• Escalate issues and address client concerns promptly.
• Assist in maintaining robust audit methodologies and continuous improvement.
• Travel up to 10% or less depending on client needs.

At Keegan Linscott, senior associates work with middle market and small companies in various industries. You will have the opportunity to work as a team member on diverse client engagements as part of our audit practice. For decades, Keegan Linscott 's assurance professionals have been helping clients improve their performance through the most challenging business cycles.Responsibilities:Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the auditing of all required financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverablesDevelop an understanding of the client's business, and become an industry specialist to understand client specific needsUnderstand and utilize Keegan Linscott 's audit methodologySupervise Audit Associates on engagement teams and function as an in-charge facilitating field work by monitoring and reporting regarding productivity and adherence to work plan schedules on each assignmentAnticipate and address client concerns and escalate issues as they ariseInteract with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficientIdentify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to Managers and DirectorsIdentify performance improvement opportunitiesRecognize and inform management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clientsEnsure professional development through ongoing educationWillingness to travel 10% or less of the year, depending on your clientsRequired Qualifications:BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree2 years of current or recent experience in a public accounting environment, auditing financial statementsCPA Certification or demonstrated progress towards obtaining CPA certification, including required courseworkPreferred Qualifications:Demonstrate experience and ability to act as in-charge on engagementsYou want your next step to be the right one.
