The ideal candidate has a BS/BA in Accounting and 2 years of public accounting experience, with CPA progress. This full-time role offers competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 2 years of current or recent experience in a public accounting environment auditing financial statements.
• CPA Certification or progress towards CPA certification, including required coursework.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, high quality client service and coordinate auditing of all required financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverables.
• Develop an understanding of the client's business and become an industry specialist to understand client needs.
• Supervise Audit Associates on engagement teams and act as in-charge, facilitating field work and monitoring progress.
• Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to Managers and Directors; escalate issues as needed.
• Willingness to travel 10% or less of the year, depending on clients.
