Job summary

Distinct | North America is seeking a hands-on Audit Senior to work with a close-knit team on audits across nonprofits, manufacturing, and tech in Oak Brook, IL. You’ll touch every part of the engagement, with mentorship, support, and the chance to lead.

The firm is modern in mindset with a young partner group invested in growth while keeping people first. Expect a 40-hour week outside busy season and substantial PTO and benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of external audit experience.
• Hands-on, client-facing role with exposure across nonprofits, manufacturing, and tech.

• Busy season hours can reach ~50 hours per week.

This isn’t an Audit Senior role where you’re stuck in a back corner ticking boxes. It’s hands‑on, client-facing, and offers the kind of exposure that actually moves your career forward.

You’ll work with a close-knit team less than 50 staff on audits across a variety of industries from nonprofits to manufacturing and tech. You’ll touch every part of the engagement, with mentorship, support, and the chance to lead.

Outside of busy season, you’re looking at 40 hours or less. Busy season itself? 50 hours logged. And beyond that
