Verital Advisory Search is seeking a Senior Audit Associate for a leading Illinois public accounting firm to join the Assurance team.

You will work side-by-side with A&A managers and firm leadership, gain high-visibility client exposure, and build a career within a collaborative, relationship-driven culture. The role emphasizes engagement management, client service, and professional growth in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's or advanced degree desired.
• CPA eligibility required, CPA desired.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience, including at least one busy season at the senior associate or supervisor level.
• Preferred experience within construction, manufacturing/distribution, technology, and/or business combinations (M&A).
• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills.
