Job summary

Ernst & Young U.S. LLP in San Francisco, CA, seeks an Audit Advisor - Assurance at Senior Manager level to lead audit advisory engagements, oversee internal controls, and develop audit strategy for client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance or related field and 8 years of financial accounting/audit work experience; or Master’s degree with 7 years of experience.
• 4 years supervising ICFR/SOX audits under US GAAS/GAAP.
• 4 years supervising audits of financial statements under US GAAS/GAAP and teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and test internal controls; provide audit advisory services to clients.
• Prepare audit strategy and business plan, including budgets and timelines.
• Analyze accounting records to prepare financial reports and improve procedures.
• Resolve legal, regulatory, and accounting issues that arise during engagements.
• Lead and coach teams; manage client relationships and risk in delivery.
