Job summary

Ernst & Young U.S. LLP in San Jose, CA, seeks an Audit Advisor in Assurance (Manager) to lead audit engagements for private and public companies.

Plan and perform audits under US GAAS and PCAOB rules, applying US GAAP, and deliver value through insights beyond regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include supervising audit teams, identifying risks, communicating findings, and building client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field plus 5 years of audit experience or a Master’s degree with 4 years of audit experience.
• Experience supervising audits of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and financial statements.
• Experience with U.S. GAAS, U.S. GAAP, SOX and PCAOB requirements.
• Ability to manage audit teams and deliver high-quality client service.

• Plan and perform audit procedures in accordance with U.S. GAAS and PCAOB rules.
• Provide audit services with insights beyond regulatory requirements.
• Apply data analytics to deliver high-quality audits and client value.
