Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistic, physics, data science, machine learning or field related to research science; with minimum 5 years of related experience
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistic, physics, data science, machine learning or field related to research science; with minimum 3 years of related experience
• PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistic, physics, data science, machine learning or field related to research science; without work experience
• Proficiency in programming languages: Python required; C/C++ or Matlab also preferred
• Proficiency in leveraging frameworks and libraries including: PyTorch, Tensorflow, scikit-learn, NumPy, Matplotlib
• Proficiency in tools and technologies including: Git/GitHub, Docker, Jupyter, AWS, OnPrem GPU training tools
• Experience in audio classification and scaling audio classification frameworks for efficient development and maintenance
• Experience using AI-assisted software development and research tools to improve engineering productivity and solution development
• Independently Deploying, validating, and demonstrating early Proof of Concept machine learning
• Knowledge or experience with classical Digital Signal Processing
• Proficiency in developing low latency, embedded-friendly solutions
• Audio engineering, recording, or other audio production (DAWs)

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, and implement cutting-edge audio features and products.
• Ideate with colleagues and partners to identify high-value AI/ML use cases for customers.
• Review literature and conduct original research and experimentation to solve complex technical problems.
• Define model and algorithm requirements with engineers and product managers.
• Develop and train custom machine learning models and algorithms for audio applications.
• Evaluate models against performance metrics and conduct listening tests as needed.
• Build prototypes using ML and DSP techniques for real-time, low-latency data.
• Collect and simulate data to create robust training and test datasets.
• Annotate data using internal tools and external partners.
• Advance engineering practices with shared toolkits, experiment tracking, and scalable research.
