Qualifications

• JD or LLB required and admitted to the PA Bar.
• 5+ years of experience in open records, litigation, regulatory, or energy law.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to translate complex terms for varied audiences.
• Experience before governmental/regulatory agencies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on open records, regulatory, litigation, municipal, energy, and related matters.
• Serve as PGW Open Records Officer and respond to records requests.
• Research opinions and provide sound legal guidance to management.
• Represent PGW in negotiations, administrative and court actions; prepare related documents.
• Coordinate with outside law firms and handle complex matters with greater liability or recovery.
• Assist manager in staff development and training needs.
