Job Details

As a Permanent Senior Attorney (Insurance Defense), you will be tasked with the following duties:

1. Handle a diverse caseload involving healthcare entities, business litigation, healthcare liability, property damage, personal injury, and accident claims.
2. Develop and implement legal strategies for successful defense in litigation cases.
3. Provide expert legal advice to clients on a variety of insurance matters.
4. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
5. Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, appeals, and contracts.
6. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
7. Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure a coordinated and effective defense strategy.
8. Stay abreast of current laws, regulations, and industry trends in insurance defense and related areas.

Qualifications

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney with a focus on insurance defense.
3. Experience handling cases involving healthcare entities, business litigation, healthcare liability, property damage, personal injury, and accident claims.
4. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
