The Florida Bar in Tallahassee is seeking an Attorney or Senior Attorney to act as counsel in disciplinary matters, handling investigations, pleadings, and trials. The role may be filled at either level, with PSLF eligibility noted.

Key responsibilities include prosecuting trials, advising grievance committees, and conducting investigations. Florida Bar membership in good standing is required, along with JD and relevant experience.

Formación

• Juris Doctorate and a Florida Bar Member in Good Standing.
• One year of legal experience as an attorney for the Attorney role; three years for Senior Attorney.

Responsabilidades

• Prosecutes trials. Completes all legal functions in disciplinary cases as necessary to resolve cases.
• Provides counsel and advice to grievance committees with respect to the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar and prepares written reports explaining all committee decisions.
• Conducts investigation of complaints alleging violation of Rules Regulating The Florida Bar. Makes decisions as to whether complaints should be dismissed or forwarded to a grievance committee for appropriate action.
• Other duties as assigned.
