Job summary

The Florida Bar seeks an experienced Lawyer Regulation attorney in Florida, based in Fort Lauderdale or Miami. You will act as counsel at all investigative and trial levels for processing grievances against attorneys, including discovery, pleadings, hearings, and appellate preparation.

Required are a JD and good standing with the Florida Bar, plus at least three years of legal experience in case management, trials, and trial strategy. This is an in-office role in FL, with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and Florida Bar in Good Standing.
• Three years legal experience across case management, trials, pre-trial matters, and trial strategy.

Responsibilities

• Prosecutes trials and handles disciplinary proceedings as needed.
• Investigates complaints and prepares pleadings; conducts discovery and hearings.
• Prepares appellate records and provides counsel to grievance committees regarding Bar rules.
• Trains and guides grievance committees on procedures.
