Job summary

Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast seek a Senior Attorney to support first-party video game studios as the primary deal lawyer for outbound licensing of iconic Wizards and Hasbro IP into digital games worldwide. Manages a small team and reports to the VP of Legal, based in Renton, WA with in-office work three days per week.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent from an accredited law school.
• 7+ years of relevant legal experience, including independent ownership of complex licensing projects.
• In-house experience at a game developer, publisher, or platform preferred.
• Working knowledge of the video game regulatory landscape.
• Experience supervising attorneys, paralegals, or other legal professionals.

Responsibilities

• Structure and negotiate agreements across outbound licensing, co-development, work-for-hire, publishing, and external development.
• Advise studio leadership on product development, talent and personality agreements, monetization, user-generated content, and creator programs.
• Partner with brand teams, internal and external counsel, marketing, privacy, finance, and business development.
