Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Senior Attorney in Sacramento, CA, with 12+ years in construction defect and/or general liability. This full-time, hybrid role requires exceptional analytical and client communication skills, with licensure to practice in California.

The successful candidate will lead case strategy, prepare briefs, manage documents, and coordinate depositions, while maintaining rigorous case files and client communications throughout hearings and trials.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of construction defect or general liability experience.
• JD degree and active California license to practice law.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong computer skills.
• Administrative/managerial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on legal best practices and provide support.
• Prepare case files and trial briefs.
• Draft and manage contracts, memos, and motions.
• Review discovery documents and plan strategy.
• Schedule hearings, court appearances, and conferences.
• Represent the firm in trials and hearings.
• Coordinate depositions of experts and witnesses.
• Research and interpret law to anticipate risks.
• Maintain case files and report status to clients.
