Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution is seeking a Trial Counsel / Partner-level attorney in Downtown Los Angeles with remote work flexibility. The role focuses on senior commercial litigation and employment defense, offering high-level responsibility, client contact and autonomy to grow a practice.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, is California-bar admitted, and can lead strategy, trials and complex negotiations while contributing to business development and client relations.

• Experience managing complex matters with autonomy and strong writing/advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation and/or employment defense matters.

• First-chair trials and manage high-value litigation matters.
• Draft and argue substantive motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Manage discovery, expert work, hearings, mediations and settlement strategy.

The role:

• Handle complex commercial litigation and / or employment defense matters
• Take lead responsibility on case strategy, client communication and trial preparation
• First-chair trials and manage high-value litigation matters
• Draft and argue substantive motions

Location:

Downtown Los Angeles, CA

Compensation:

Up to $400,000 depending on experience, portable business and overall fit

Billables:

• Partner-level expectation around 1,700–1,800 hours
• Commercial litigation trial counsel expectation around 1,900 hours

Requirements:

• 10+ years of commercial litigation and / or employment defense experience
• California Bar admission in good standing
• Experience managing complex litigation matters with autonomy
• Strong writing, advocacy and client management skills
• Commercially minded and comfortable working directly with clients

Ideal background:

• Trial counsel experience
• Business disputes, shareholder / partnership disputes, wage and hour, FEHA, trade secret, consumer / regulatory or complex commercial matters
• Existing book of business helpful but not essential
