Based in Texas, you will advise management on aircraft purchasing agreements, aviation contracts, and complex subcontracts. The role focuses on strategic, proactive legal counsel across multiple Texas locations.

The ideal candidate holds a JD, a Texas license, and 13+ years of contract experience, including DoD/government work, with strong negotiation skills and DoD clearance ability.

Qualifications

• JD degree and active state license to practice law (Texas required).
• 13 years of experience managing contracts, aircraft purchasing and MRO agreements.
• Hands-on experience with aircraft purchase agreements and aviation contracts.

Responsibilities

• Advise sector management as a trusted business partner on legal matters.
• Lead negotiations, draft and analyze aircraft purchasing and MRO agreements.
• Provide guidance on risk mitigation, contract interpretation and dispute resolution.
• Ensure compliance and ethical standards in a high-ethics environment.
• Support DoD and US Government contracting requirements.
