Qualifications

JD/LL.B./LL.M. from ABA-accredited law school with transcripts.
Active bar membership in good standing with the highest court of a state, DC, or territory.
One year of specialized experience at GS-12 level equivalent for GS-13; similar private sector experience acceptable.
May qualify at GS-13/14/15 based on experience in federal labor and employment law.

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and counsel on complex issues affecting OA and EOP, including labor, ethics, and procurement law.
Draft and review documents and prepare memoranda for OA on legal matters.
Brief, present, and train OA and EOP staff and senior officials on required legal topics.
