Job Details

Our firm, a leading name in the Legal Industry, is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and proactive Defense Attorney to join our team. This role involves providing legal representation and advice in a variety of complex workers compensation-related cases with our clients.

Responsibilities

• Representing the company in court and other legal proceedings related to workers compensation.
• Providing legal advice and guidance on a wide range of workers compensation matters
• Developing and implementing legal strategies
• Reviewing and advising on contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related
• Staying updated on changes in workers compensation regulations and laws, and advising the company on any necessary adjustments to business practices.
• Preparing and presenting legal reports and updates to company executives and stakeholders.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California Bar (CA Bar).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with a focus on Workers Compensation law.
• Proven experience in successfully defending clients in complex Workers Compensation cases.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships.
