Job summary

The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, seeks a full-time Attending Physician to join our Medical Department leadership. The role focuses on delivering high-quality medical care to residents and coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of experience as an Attending Physician in a hospital with a geriatric population; or within a nursing home environment.
• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• NYS Board certification in a primary care specialty.
• Eligibility for hospital admitting privileges.
• Clean and active license to practice medicine in New York State.
• Proficient in SigmaCare or a similar Electronic Medical Record software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical care to Parker residents in coordination with the health care team.
• Provide clinical leadership within the Medical Department.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and administration to ensure high-quality care.
