Qualifications

• Possession of a valid license to practice dentistry in the State of New York.
• Assignment Level I requires 1 year of full-time licensed experience in General Dentistry.
• Assignment Level II/III requires 5 years of full-time licensed experience in General Dentistry.
• Specialty tracks require residency/advanced training and board certification prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Provide general or specialty dental care of ordinary difficulty under general direction.
• Perform assessments, determine plan of care, and supervise diagnostic/therapeutic modalities.
• Examine patients using radiographs and clinical exams to determine care needs.
• Develop treatment plans and supervise staff and house clinicians as appropriate.
• Contribute to teaching and participate in quality assurance within the dental department.
