Saab, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and commission advanced Air Traffic Monitoring (ATM) systems as part of the Automation and Surveillance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering, physics or computer science from an accredited institution or equivalent military education/trainings.
• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Opportunities for international travel (up to 10%).
• Proficiency in Matlab, C/C++, Java, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and decompose them to generate system designs and architectures, hardware and software requirements.
• Perform design analysis and trade studies.
• Lead small teams to develop detailed designs and artifacts.
• Develop technical documentation and materials for design reviews.
• Lead programmatic and technical discussions with customers.
• Assist in integrating, configuring, and testing systems in factory and deployed environments.
• Collaborate with customers, prime contractors, and subcontractors to integrate systems.
