Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for ATM applications and related systems in Irving, TX.

You will build comprehensive test suites and validate ATM hardware in a lab setting while integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities include analyzing results, conducting root cause analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve platform stability and release readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Seven to nine years of relevant work experience with programming concepts, development logic or automating complex processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for ATM applications, middleware, transaction processing systems, and hardware integrations.
• Build and execute functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end automated test suites to improve software quality and release readiness.
• Develop automation solutions for ATM transactions including cash withdrawals, deposits, balance inquiries, card services, and image processing.
• Validate ATM hardware components including card readers, cash dispensers, receipt printers, deposit modules, recyclers, and barcode scanners within a lab environment.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices to support continuous testing and delivery.
• Analyze test results, perform root cause analysis, and partner with engineering teams to resolve defects and improve platform stability.
