Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated frameworks for ATM applications and hardware integrations. You will build end-to-end tests, automate ATM transactions, and validate lab-tested hardware.

Role requires strong scripting (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript), experience with Selenium/Playwright, and CI/CD in a financial services environment. On-site in Portland area preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Seven to nine years of relevant work experience with programming concepts, development logic or automating complex processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for ATM applications and hardware integrations.
• Build and execute functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end automated test suites.
• Develop automation solutions for ATM transactions including cash withdrawals, deposits, balance inquiries, card services, and image processing.
• Validate ATM hardware components in a lab environment.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices.
• Analyze test results, perform root cause analysis, and partner with engineering teams to resolve defects.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, QA analysts, and infra teams to embed quality across SDLC.
• Drive continuous improvement of automation coverage and testing efficiency.
